Grandparents Group
Calling all grandparents! Are you interested in meeting other grandparents to share your experiences social activities and make new friends.
Come to our group and be part of organising and participating in activities, guest speakers, relevant to the changing role of grandparents in today’s society.

Meet at South Barwon Community Centre every 2nd Tuesday. You are invited to come along to share your creative endeavours and make new friends.

Pet Loss Grief Service

The Geelong Pet Loss Grief Service provides support and assistance to bereaved pet owners.

Dates: 1st Thursday each month

This singing group is set in a fun safe and inclusive environment.  You will be led through a journey of songs from contemporary, world, soul and gospel traditions.  New & experienced singers are welcome.

Peer Support Network

The group aims to provide support activities, education, and discussion to people with an interest in mental health. Join us for this self directed, inclusive group and discover your potential.

Drop in for an informal cuppa and chat with SBCC staff and volunteers on Wednesday mornings. Pick up information on what's on at the centre or pamphlets on resources and services.

Scrapbooking

This is a great five week program in basic Scrapbooking that includes: 12cm x 12cm, double page album layout, an accordion box, mini albums & more. Take home a creation each week.

We invite local residents to a relaxed, informal setting where they can enjoy needlework, jewellery, card making, and other crafts. Participants can bring their own projects, share ideas or simply have a cuppa and make new friends.

Belly Dancing - Beginners and Advanced

Belly Dancing for
Beginners
Have fun and learn the ancient art of Belly Dancing (the Dance of the East) with your friends. The classes are tailored to accommodate all participants.
This is a safe, gentle form of exercise regardless of shape, age, physical ability or experience. Enjoy this weekly social outlet and meet new friends. Wear loose and comfortable clothing.

Belly Dancing: Advanced Class
This class is designed for those who have completed the Beginners Classes to help further develop individual styles and techniques. A wonderful opportunity to strengthen the bonds and friendships carried over from the Beginner Classes.
