The Centre
South Barwon Community Centre Inc is an incorporated body run by a voluntary
committee of management. It is staffed by one part-time co-ordinator and a
great team of volunteers.
Funding for the Centre is provided by Department of Planning and Community
Development as well as
various grants from the City of Greater Geelong.
South Barwon Community Centre is part of the Neighbourhood House network and
aims to develop a range of activities and programs that meet the community needs
and reflects the principles of:

Volunteers
A very special thank-you to the volunteers of the South Barwon Community
Centre. As with any community centre, volunteers are essential to enable
us to provide a range of services in response the needs of the community.
If you would like to be involved in the continuing development of a vibrant
community centre, develop a range of new skills and make new friends contact
the co-ordinator about joining our team of volunteers.

Membership
Membership of South Barwon Community Centre Inc. (SBCC) is free and is an
opportunity to register your support for the Centre and it's activities.
As a member you will: * Be eligible to be a member on the
Committee of Management.
* Receive an invitation to the Annual General Meeting.
* Have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.

Services
South Barwon Community Centre provides arrange of services to the community
including computer access, room hire, laminating, a community noticeboard
and community information.
Computer Access
A computer is available for you to prepare your C.V, write letters, make-up
flyers, newsletters, etc.
Bookings are essential.
Cost: Free, 10¢ per page for black & white printing.
(Colour printing prices on application)
Laminating
Cost: Business Card 50¢, A4 $1.00 (GST inc.)
Community Noticeboard
Space is available in the centre for groups and organisations to display
activities and events.
General Information
SBCC has on display a range of brochures from community organisations.
These are freely available to the community.
